Expert lecture on the topic of artificial intelligence
We offer training that is up to date. We regularly expand the training offering with targeted lectures from experts in areas that are important to our young designers. With Ms. Deborah Mateja from the University of Mannheim, we had an expert on artificial intelligence as a guest at our Mannheim fashion school Kehrer Design Academy.
Deborah Mateja from the university gives exciting insights into the field of AI
Deborah Mateja from the University of Mannheim conducts research in the area of generative artificial intelligence (AI) and its interface with human creativity. Some of our students served as subjects for data collection for their current study.
Artificial intelligence is currently on everyone's lips and we are increasingly confronted with it in everyday life. It can be assumed that the topic of AI will continue to grow in importance and that our students will be confronted with it in their future professional lives.
Ms. Mateja gave a wide-ranging insight, discussed the opportunities and risks of artificial intelligence and impressively illustrated the areas in which AI is already being used.
A focus of the lecture was on the question of how artificial intelligence already influences the design area and will influence it even more in the future, e.g. the collection creation process. This question is of course of utmost importance for our aspiring designers. For this reason, we are even more pleased that we were able to offer our students added value in this hot topic.
