We are convinced that: The zeitgeist and current trends is particularly easy to sense in large metropolises. This is why we chose two central locations for our Academy in the heart of two vibrant cities.
The creative spaces at our Kehrer Design Academy fashion school in Stuttgart are located in the city centre, in close proximity to the Gerber Centre, one of the city’s shopping highlights with an abundance of things on offer, especially when it comes to fashion design.

Mannheim's water tower is considered one of the most beautiful Art Nouveau parks in Europe and is also the city's landmark. From there it is only about 100 metres to our Kehrer Design Academy fashion school in Mannheim in Q7, 21, where we have moved into some amazing premises for our students.

Our modern, spacious and very comprehensively equipped creative spaces, studios and workshops in our Stuttgart and Mannheim design schools offer really great learning and working conditions so that learning successes can be achieved quickly. And so that you feel comfortable and can develop creatively.
Both our Stuttgart and Mannheim design schools also have a common area and a bistro area for our students. Our creative spaces are also available for you to work in outside of lesson periods.
Regular investments in equipment
We regularly invest in the creative spaces and equipment at our fashion schools, as well as always having qualified teaching staff. As such, we have two really well equipped sewing studios at both schools with special machines and ironing systems, as well as numerous modern computer-aided industrial high-speed sewing machines, which are particularly enjoyable to work on. Each student has their own machine to work on during the classes.
Modern iMac computers with design software
Of course, we also have suitably well-equipped computer rooms with numerous laptops and high-quality iMac computers with internationally renowned design software that is widely used in the design industry, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe In-Design, Corel Draw and Koppermann Tex-Design. In addition, iPads including Apple Pencils and Wacom drawing boards are also available. There’s free Wi-Fi available for all students throughout the schools. In addition, there’s also iMacs available for you to use in the common area, enabling you to always be able to continue working digitally.
3D printer with software
3D technology is the future, especially in the design sector. We also have 3D printers with the corresponding software in our design schools and train you intensively and individually here too.
CAD cutting
In the area of CAD cutting, we are superbly equipped with the Assyst cutting system, which is widely used in the fashion industry, and the additionally available Novocat cutting system.
Modern presentation media
In addition, numerous modern presentation media are available for teaching, such as large screens, video projectors, projectors and visualisers. Our schools also each have two large-format interactive activeboards with interactive software and internet access that don’t just perfectly enhance the teaching experience, they also offer versatile options for guest lectures and presentations.
Own photo studio area
In order to be able to put the attractive designs and creations of our young designers in the right light outside of our events and big graduate fashion shows, we have set up our own photo studio areas with professional equipment in Stuttgart and Mannheim.
Creative work with city flair
Both our Mannheim and our Stuttgart Design Academies are located in the city centre. This means there are plenty of opportunities at both locations to get refreshments during breaks. There are bakeries, supermarkets, cafés, restaurants and other shops in close proximity.
