Our aspiring fashion designers had the unique opportunity to experience the renowned fashion company RIANI GmbH up close at its headquarters in Schorndorf. During an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour, we were not only able to take a look into the various departments, but also gained deep insights into the processes of an internationally successful fashion label.

From sketch to showroom – the RIANI team offered exciting insights into design, pattern development, material selection, and production. Our students were particularly impressed by the combination of artisanal precision, digital technology, and the clear design philosophy that defines RIANI: strong, feminine fashion with attitude.
An absolute highlight: the personal exchange with Ms. Martina Buckenmaier, CEO of RIANI GmbH, and the creative team. The discussion covered not only trends, challenges, the collection development process, past collections, entry-level opportunities, and career paths in the fashion industry – it also made clear how much passion, team spirit, and strategic thinking goes into every collection.
This excursion was not only inspiring but also hands-on – a true learning highlight for our aspiring fashion designers!
