Anne Häfner from Modekarriere gives valuable tips for the creative career

Guest lecture by our former student Anne Häfner

Anne Häfner was herself a student at the Kehrer Design Academy fashion school in Stuttgart and completed her state-recognized fashion designer degree in 2010.

After successfully completing her fashion design degree at the Kehrer Design Academy fashion school, Anne Häfner gained a lot of experience in different companies and areas before founding the well-known platform MODEKARRIERE.COM in 2014.

MODEKARRIERE.COM offers a lot of information and services for aspiring fashion designers and fashion start-ups. Anne Häfner has also written and published three successful specialist books: the “Textil Compass”, the workbook “Ready for Production” and the application guide “Start Your Fashion Career”, in which she gives valuable tips for creative applications and building the perfect portfolio for fashion designers in the application process .

The Kehrer Design Academy maintains contact with many graduates and therefore has a considerable network, which always benefits the current students: be it with support in the application process, the sharing of experiences from everyday working life or help with direct career entry and the direct placement of jobs and entry opportunities.

As part of the guest lecture on December 5th, 2023 in our Stuttgart fashion school Kehrer Design Academy, Anne Häfner, a successful graduate, returned to the place of her successful training period and passed on her knowledge and experiences to the students. She gave a comprehensive lecture on the topic of creative applications and gave numerous valuable tips for the application and portfolio. She also took a lot of time for personal discussions with the students and answered numerous questions.

Application training and portfolio coaching are very important, especially in the final year of training to become a state-recognized fashion designer. For this reason, after the exciting lecture, the current graduating class went straight to a workshop on the topic of portfolio and job coaching.

The Kehrer Design Academy l would like to thank Anne Häfner for her visit, the great lecture and the many exciting and valuable insights. We were incredibly happy to welcome her and we wish her all the best and great success with MODEKARRIERE.COM.
